What do you mean by "perfect" intonation? |
A good human musical ear can apprehend a difference of 3 -
4 cents (1 cent = 1/100 semitone). between two notes. At three cents difference I can
possibly notice that there is a difference, but I can't judge which one is higher or lower
than the other. I have a customer who can apprehend differences of 1.5 - 2 cents. He is blind since early age and his hearing is extremely developed. Since I've intonated his guitar, I know that I can intonate more accurate than the human ear can apprehend. That's what I mean when I use the word "perfect". |
